The Best Pet Trackers for Any Pets

Tile Tips

You may have heard of using Tile to track the location of your important belongings, such as your phone, wallet, purse, or keys. But did you know Tile can also be used as a pet tracker? It’s true. Many people have had great success using Tile as a Bluetooth pet tracker to help them locate dogs, cats, bunnies, and even tortoises!

How Tile’s Pet Tracker Works

Attach the Tile pet tracker to your dog or cat’s collar, or even stick it on your turtle’s shell! It’s easy to keep track of your pet at home or on-the-go with Tile.

When you can’t locate your pet or they aren’t responding to your calls, simply click Find in the Tile app on your mobile device to make the Tile ring. You can follow the sound of the ringing in your home, and you’ll be able to find your pet. Tile Pro offers a 400-foot Bluetooth range, and Tile Mate offers a 200-foot Bluetooth range.

In addition to tapping Find in the Tile app to make the device on your pet’s collar ring, you can save yourself a step and ask your smart home assistant to make your pet’s Tile ring.

Tile’s Bluetooth pet tracker can also be used to help you find a pet that has escaped from your yard. If your pet is away from your house and not in range to hear it, you can count on the Tile Network to help you out. Tap Notify When Found in the app to be notified when the Tile Network has located your pet. Wondering how it works? Each phone with the Tile app installed acts as a network extender, meaning they will work anonymously to scan for the Tile on your pet. When other phones in the Tile Network pick up the location of your pet’s Tile, you’ll receive a notification to let you know where your pet is. It’s important to note that the location of your pet—and any of your other Tiles—will always stay private to you! The Tile Network is anonymous.

For additional finding power for your cat or dog, consider upgrading to Tile Premium. You'll have access to a 30-day location history showing where your pet has been. This could be helpful in identifying the routes of dogs or cats who have been missing for extended periods of time or tracking outdoor cats who don’t return home daily. You’ll be able to see some of the spots they frequent, which could help you narrow in on their current location.

Tile Premium also allows you to share your Tile with an unlimited number of friends and family who also have the app. This could help you locate a missing pet since more people will be able to cover more ground. Furthermore, it will increase the chances that someone will hear the Tile ringing when you get close to finding your pet!

Tracker Use Cases

Tile’s Bluetooth pet trackers can help you locate just about any type of pet. Whether your furry (or not so furry) companion is a dog, cat, rabbit, turtle, or even a horse, Tile can provide peace of mind that you’ll be able to find them around the house, or should they ever escape or go missing. Our smallest finder, the waterproof Sticker, uses safe and reliable adhesives for pets.

Consider this: has your heart ever stopped after your dog escaped from your fence in the backyard? Do you get frustrated trying to find your cat when it's time for a trip to the vet, a dose of medicine, or some other activity that your cat wants nothing to do with? Has your dog or cat started to lose their hearing in their old age and now doesn’t come when you call them? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’ll love the convenience of using Tile’s pet tracker.
